Why take a Libertyville coach bus rental?

With over 20,000 residents, Libertyville, which is found in Lake county, is the perfect spot to raise a family. It is close to the highway and has numerous schools, parks, restaurants, and shopping.

There are so many ways to enjoy the Spirit of Independence in and around Libertyville. For example;

The David Adler Cultural Center is formerly the home of David Adler, one of Chicago’s great architects. The Cultural Center welcomes thousands of local and nearby residents to participate each week in art and music classes, folk and ethnic concerts, art exhibitions, special events, tours and programs for adults and children.

The Adlai E. Stevenson Historic Home is located just south of the Village’s borders and is operated by the Lake County Forest Preserve. A tour of the home and beautiful grounds gives an inside view of how this former governor and political figure lived and the setting in which he met other dignitaries.

The Ansel Cook House is located in Cook Park in the heart of Libertyville and operated by the Libertyville-Mundelein Historical Society. This treasure is one of the most complete Victorian museums in Lake County. The home was built in 1876 and was bequeathed to the Village of Libertyville.

With over 8 miles of bike paths connecting into the larger Lake County system and over 500 acres of parks, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the outdoors.

Chicago Botanic Garden is an enchanting place with 23 unique gardens, sparkling lakes and discoveries around every corner. Climb up a waterfall garden, chug over to the Model Railroad Garden and enjoy exciting events and summer.

The Cuneo Museum is an historic mansion dating from 1914 nestled on 75 acres of vistas and formal gardens. The Italianate architecture is the work of architect Benjamin Marshall, who was commissioned by Samuel Insull to create a summer villa.

Didier Farms offers a Garden Center, homegrown vegetables, Pumpkinfest September – October 31, Pony rides, an animal zoo, a five-acre corn maze, and a petting zoo.

Arrive curious. Leave inspired.  The Bess Bower Dunn Museum of Lake County will immerse you in the history, nature and people of Lake County. The museum is operated by the Lake County Forest Preserves.

Visiting for the day, why not stay a while. A number of regular evening entertainment options are available. If you happen to live in the Village, these nightspots are right on your doorstep. Enjoy dinner before heading out for the evening.

The Great Lakes Naval Museum is a small military museum showing the history of Navy ‘boot camp’ training and of Naval Station Great Lakes.

With restored buildings dating back to the late 1800’s when Libertyville was the county seat, downtown is a neat place to explore. Features include restaurants, a museum, movie theater, brewery, winery and many great shops.

Located adjacent to Libertyville on Peterson Road (Rt 137), and part of the Lake County Forest Preserve system, Independence Grove offers an array of outdoor activities, including fishing, boating, hiking trails, and a swimming beach.

Lambs Farm businesses include the Farmyard, Pet Shop, Country Inn Restaurant, Thrift Shop, and Country Store & Bakery, which benefit programs for people with developmental disabilities.

For over 30 years, the Village Band (comprised of volunteers) has provided free public concerts in Cook Park in the summer. The concerts are one of the favorite summer events that make Libertyville so special and are surrounded by the beautiful Rose Garden.
